Executive Board Elections – Fall 2026


Are you ready to take your leadership to the next level? The TAVNE Executive Board is seeking passionate, dedicated members to serve in three key positions:

  • President Elect

  • Vice President

  • Secretary 
     

Executive Board Elections

The Executive Board is pleased to announce that the following three offices are open for nominations from the membership. TAVNE members may nominate themselves or another TAVNE member for any of these positions. The strength of our organization relies on the commitment of its members, so please consider running for an office or becoming involved in one or more of the standing committees.

Elections will be held at the Fall 2026 TAVNE Conference in Austin, TX.
 

President Elect

The President Elect serves as a member of the Executive Board and works collaboratively with the President and board members to support the mission and goals of TAVNE. The President Elect assists with organizational planning, leadership development, committee support, and conference activities while preparing to assume the office of President. This officer will become familiar with all operational aspects of the association and provide leadership support as assigned by the President. The term of office is two years as President Elect, followed by service as President according to the TAVNE bylaws.

Vice President

The Vice President supports the President and Executive Board in carrying out the activities and initiatives of the association. Responsibilities include assisting with committee coordination, membership engagement, conference planning, and organizational operations. The Vice President presides over meetings in the absence of the President and performs duties as assigned by the President or Executive Board. The term of office is two years.


Secretary

The Secretary is responsible for maintaining accurate records of the association, including meeting minutes, official correspondence, and organizational

documents. The Secretary ensures records are properly maintained and distributed to the Executive Board and membership as appropriate. This officer collaborates closely with Executive Board members to support communication, organizational continuity, and compliance with association bylaws. The term of office is two years.
 

All nominees should come prepared to campaign at the TAVNE Fall Conference and deliver a brief speech to the membership.
