Texas Association
of Vocational Nurse Educators (TAVNE)
was organized in 1979 as a group of vocational
nurse educators felt compelled to come together
to work for the good of vocational nurse education
in the state of Texas. Membership is open to
individuals whose responsibilities are involved
in education of vocational nurses.
The slogan “Today’s
Active Voice
in Nursing Education”
signifies the work of this organization.
