About TAVNE - Philosophy, History and Achievements

Texas Association of Vocational Nurse Educators (TAVNE) was organized in 1979 when a group of vocational nurse educators felt compelled to work together for the good of vocational nurse education. Membership is open to individuals whose responsibilities are involved in education of vocational nurses.

The slogan “Today’s Active Voice in Nursing Education” signifies the work of this organization.
